Speaker: Brian Derry, Executive Director of Information Services, The NHS Information Centre for health and social care and Chair of the National Council of ASSIST (The Association for Informatics Professionals in Health and Social Care, a member group of the BCS).

Update: Parking information and directions

There will be parking available on site, there is an intercom at the barrier but if you state you are for the "BCS Event in the Charles Thackrah" you will be let in.

Bus route: For those who are coming by train and don't know Leeds the simplest bus route is First Leeds route 95 leaving from Stand 10 at Leeds Station Interchange every 10 minutes (05, 15 etc.). Ask for the stop nearest the Woodhouse Lane / Clarendon Road junction. The Charles Thackrah Building is on the right as you walk down Clarendon Road. The rough journey times are 11 mins on bus and 8 mins walking (Information from www.traveline.org.uk).
